Snow

The weather forecast for today was sleet but when I woke up this morning there was snow on the ground outside!  So here’s the obligatory photos for the first snow of the winter.

I had a 9am lecture and debated whether to drive, walk or bus to uni, but in the end opted to use my AutoSocks to get down the hill to the main road, then I could remove them and drive normally because the main road was flat and pretty clear from all the traffic.  Thanks to Simone for the winter driving tips – so I knew to creep down in a low gear rather than use my brakes 🙂  When I drove home I left my car down on the main road in case it’s icy or snowing again tomorrow morning.

During the day we had a bit of sleet, a bit of rain, a bit of sun, and some more snow, so I didn’t really get any good photos until this evening.

Yay snow! Love the photos 🙂 We looked at them the day you posted, but forgot to comment.

It was pretty much gone by the next day at my place and at uni, but there was still a bit on the hills. I bet it’ll snow again once or twice before the end of winter though!
