It’s weird to think you are back already, the 5 weeks went so fast.

Thanks Keryn, I found the info on their website for the 24hr helpline before I left and needed to use it too when my bag didn’t turn up! They said just to keep the receipts and make my claim when I get back (for the replacement stuff I had to buy when my bag still hadn’t turned up after 12 hours). Am hoping to keep some compensation from Singapore Airlines also as it was a big hassle and cost us in cellphone calls while we were in London and also for the courier to get my extra bag back to my parents from Dover. Reece just wants them to upgrade us when we fly back but I’d rather have cold hard cash! Oh, also Simone’s brand new pack arrived with a major abrasion mark on the lid despite me wrapping it in a plastic bag, and in one place there’s actually a little hole so I’m going to have to get Macpac to repair it when I get back to Chch.
Singapore Airlines is not all bad – their service on the plane was great and once I was actually able to get through to someone in their baggage dept she was fantastic and spent all morning being the go-between with me, the couriers, the B&B the couriers said they’d delivered to but must not have, and finally got it all sorted out. But grrr @ 9 days to get it to me!

Don’t worry about the PO box card thing unless you’re actually there when it’s open, they’ve never asked me for ID but I’m happy to sort it when I get back

There’s also a card to say that they couldn’t fit everything in your PO Box but I haven’t gone to the counter as it says that they might ask for ID. I’ll give it a go if you like.
